Note that all reservations must be made online or by phone.
Drinking water: we are using the pictogram « non-drinkable water » from the
Department of environment and climate changes. You have to bring your own
drinking water. We keep some bottled water at the entry kiosk
New WIFI: a wifi zone around the reception is now offered to our customers only in summer.
Cell Network: There is no cell network available in East Hereford. Use your time with us to disconnect from social networks and connect with nature!
Emergency: There is an emergency phone on the wall of the entry kiosk. For emergency purposes only.
Late arrival: There is no limitation for your time of arrival after 2PM. Nevertheless, we recommend you arrive early to settle during daylight.
Gas: Make sure you have a full tank of gas upon arrival. No gas stations within 20 km, nearest ones are in Coaticook.
Cash money: when staying in the back country, it is always recommended to have some cash money with you. Nearest ATM machines are in Coaticook.
Grocery store or convenience store: Pour Croissant Faire (grocery store) is located at 223, Route 253 Saint-Malo. Take the opportunity to observe the landscape from the La Montagnaise tower! In Coaticook you will find the IGA and the SAQ on Child Street, the Giant Tiger on Wellington as well as other businesses downtown.
Hunting: if you plan on visiting us in October and you want to use the biking or hiking trails on Mount Hereford, make sure to avoid hunting season. Moose hunting : Septembre 28 to October 4, 2024. Please visit these sites for info: Foret Hereford or Circuits Frontières
Wood: Bags of wood for sale on site or on line for : 8.70$ + taxes
In order to protect the local forest against invasive alien insects, wood must be purchase locally.
Dogs: dogs on leash are permitted on campsites and Vanlife. No dogs allowed in PODS. Owner must pick-up after their dogs.

Direction from Coaticook:
Take Main Street East, exiting the town, take Chemin DESROSIERS on your right after the traffic light. Chemin Desrosiers becomes Chemin du 9e Rang. Entering the municipality of East Hereford it becomes Chemin de Coaticook. We are located, on your right, 1.4 km after you see the East Hereford entering sign.
